Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We offer a free, no obligation 30-minute trial lesson to introduce you to our teaching methodology and to experience online learning through video conferencing. We will also assess your level of Spanish and advise you on the most suitable course for you.
Either through sending an email to hola@spanish-elearning.com or through the Free Trial section on our website. You can book a lesson by choosing the date and time you prefer. After your first contact with us, you will receive our fully personalized attention to flexibly plan all your classes with Spanish-eLearning.
After your online trial class, we will send you an email with notes from the trial class and details on how to enroll. To begin your lessons, you purchase one of our plans (trial, basic, recommended or saving) through Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer. You will then receive your timetable and can start enjoying your first lesson in less than 24 hours. Your teacher will always send you a confirmation before your class.
We give our students the option to choose whether they would like the same teacher or change from time to time to be exposed to different accents and teaching styles. We believe both are valid and effective formulas.
We believe that regular practice is essential which is why lessons have an expiry date. The expiration date depends on the type of plan you have:
- 5 lessons – valid for three (3) months from the first class.
- 10 lessons – valid for four (4) months from the first class.
- 20 lessons – valid for six (6) months from the first class.
- 50 lessons – valid for twelve (12) months from the first class.
As long as you give us at least 24 hours of notice before the class is scheduled to start, your class may be rescheduled without penalty. Classes that are not cancelled with sufficient notice will be forfeited.
Depending on the type of course you choose, we may advise you to buy additional learning material. We work with digital books with access to audios, videos, interactive exercises, etc. Prices are very affordable and this way we encourage work outside the virtual class and self-learning.
The Spanish-eLearning methodology follows the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the Cervantes Institute curriculum. When our team of teachers believe you have reached the level established by the CEFR, you can request a level test which covers the main language skills: speaking, writing, reading and listening. If you pass the test, you will receive a certificate issued by Spanish-eLearning. It has a cost of 49€.
